Do you really make all of your products by hand? We do make all of our products by hand. This gives us greater flexibility in our manufacturing, especially quality control. This way, we make sure our product quality is of the highest standard - all of our products are 100% inspected before they are packed.

Why should I buy your products? Buying from The Soapy Story means you can be sure of the high quality, fresh products that we are proud to supply to all of our customers. Plus all of our products are certified and bound under the required regulations for sale in the UK and EU.

Are your products animal friendly? All of the products we produce are vegetarian and vegan friendly and are certified as such, in cases where a product is not suitable for vegetarians this will be mentioned. We are also pleased to state that all of the materials we source and use have not at any stage been tested on animals.

How are you regulated? All of our products are certified by chemists and the UK and EU standards required for our products to be produced. Further to this we are governed and regulated by our local Environmental Agency and Department of Trade and Industry, ensuring the quality and service we offer is constant and above the required standards.

How can I pay for my products? At present we accept the following methods of payment – PayPal. Our preferred method is via Paypal as this allows us to dispatch goods to you immediately, without waiting for cheques to arrive in the post or clear. Paypal is completely secure and allows you to create your own Paypal account very easily.

How long will delivery usually take? If you pay by Paypal, goods will be dispatched within 48 hours after your order has been placed. The delivery method is currently Royal Mail and the delivery charge is consistent with the Royal Mail postage. Delivery time is usually 7-10 working days.

How is my order packed? All orders are packaged securely with bio-degradable packaging to ensure that damage to the environment is minimised, your order will be packed securely using a variety of packaging materials including foam, air pockets and scrap boarding. All of the cartons we use are recycled to aid in the preservation of our forests and woodlands

How long will my soap last before it expires? Typically all of our soaps and products last up to 12 months before the colour and fragrances may begin to fade. However to ensure that this does not occur prematurely please keep soaps in a suitable environment. For example direct sunlight, hot temperatures and areas likely to be wet/damp are not advisable as areas to store our soap, as the oils may be affected.

Do you sell your products abroad? Our products are available for sale in about 20 countries throughout the world including Germany, Spain, Norway and America.

I am a shop owner in the UK or Europe and want to stock your products. How do I order?We supply direct to store in the UK and Europe. You can download our trade price list by registering in our Trade Customers secure login area, or alternatively we can email a copy.
